Training Activities

Members of the WFD train on Tuesday nights, from 7:00pm until 10:00pm, and on Sundays from 10:00am until 1:00pm.  All members practice hose evolutions, ground ladder placement, and driver training on a regular basis.  The department also attends formal training classes at the Bucks County Fire School approximately once a month.  Training topics include first aid and CPR, vehicle rescue, high angle and confined space rescue, water and ice rescue, and emergency vehicle operator training.  Most members of the department participate in more than 100 hours of training each year.
